Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-21, The Dennis Township Planning Board will hold a meeting on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 7pm at Township Hall, 571 Petersburg Road, Dennisville, NJ. The purpose of this meeting is to present proposed changes to the Dennis Township masterplan, in particular as it applies to the villages of Dennisville, South Dennis, and South Seaville. Comments and questions from the public will be taken at this meeting.

Every six years Dennis Township is required to review its existing Master Plan and make any changes that it feels would direct land use in the manner that is most suitable. December 2006 - Then Mayor Ruth Blessing announced a program of collecting data on Senior Citizens and handicapped persons and has implemented this program in the Township. This program will give our Emergency Management co-coordinator data on all Senior citizens and handicapped residents living in the Township to assure their safety in case of a hurricane or unforeseen disaster in this area. A list will be compiled from all information received by the Director of the Senior Citizen Center. A copy of this list will be kept on file in Township Hall, Emergency Management Office and the Dennis Township Senior Center.

Forms may be picked up at the Township Hall and the Dennis Township Senior Center, both located at 571 Petersburg Road, Dennisville. Forms will also be available at Fire Halls located in the Township as well as the VFW located in Belleplain and at The Belleplain Rescue Squad Building.
